Who we are…
Welcome to Fruit of the Vine, a blog led by two best friends about their faith journey as Catholic Christians. Graceann and Lexi are two young adults who have encountered the Lord in very powerful ways in their lives, and long for others to encounter Christ in the same way. They both enjoy writing and wanted a space to share the inspirations that they receive through prayer from the Spirit—a space where self-promotion is not the goal, but rather greater glory of God. Their hope is that readers will enter these reflections with open hearts and minds ultimately leaving with a deepened desire to pursue God Who is Love.
Graceann is currently living her best life in New England while pursuing a Master of Theological Studies (MTS) at Boston College Clough School of Theology and Ministry. She anticipates working toward a doctoral degree in Systematics and Ecclesiology in the coming years. Listening and advocacy in solidarity with marginalized and oppressed communities are among her academic and personal passions—specifically for the community in which she was raised and nurtured: rural Appalachia. Find Graceann with a coffee in one hand, a book in the other, and a voice fearlessly on the ready to speak out on practical application and living out of the Gospel. AMDG

Lexi is an elementary school teacher that seeks to live a life of joy, no matter the circumstances. She believes that the path to sainthood lies in our faithfulness to ordinary, everyday moments. Lexi is passionate about leading others to recognize their worth and identity in Christ above all else. Her love for ministry and writing was strongly influenced by her time & service as the youth minister for St. John Paul II Scioto Catholic during her college studies. Aside from writing, Lexi loves working with children, traveling, and a good cup of coffee!

At Fruit of the Vine, our mission is to journey with our readers in faith as we share and reflect upon our experiences and inspirations as disciples of Christ within the Roman Catholic tradition. We invite you to engage with our reflections, opening your heart to the transformative power of prayer and community. Together, let us deepen our love for and relationship with our God Who nurtures and sustains.
Why we exist..
At Fruit of the Vine, we exist to share our personal encounters with Christ and to inspire others on their faith journeys. Through reflections and insights, we aim to foster a community whose focus is glorifying and kindling deeper connections with God. We believe that in sharing our experiences, the Holy Spirit will further prompt and encounter others to open their hearts to the transformative power of God’s tenderness and love.
